In a bit of shameless cross-promotion, I urge readers of our Leech Lake Tribal College Library Blog to also check out our neighbors at Leech Lake's own radio station KOJB 90.1 FM The Eagle. KOJB strives to bring educational programming, news, history, and entertainment to the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe community. The radio station is also home to the KOJB Book Club, hosted by LLTC librarian and LLTC Library blogger Melissa Pond (me).
The KOJB Book Club airs on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 11 a.m. on KOJB 90.1 FM The Eagle, broadcasting across the Leech Lake Reservation and streaming online at http://www.kojb.org. Past promos and interviews are archived on the KOJB Book Club Blog, found at http://kojbbookclub.wordpress.com.
Like LLTC, KOJB is another one of many great initiatives of the Leech Lake Nation. Check it out.
